” No matter how close I work, the backgrounds are very important in my photographs. In Paris the beauty of the architecture breaths with every image”
After our stroll along Canal St Martin (refer to previous post), I decided I should be wearing my new vintage polka dot shirt. I love this shirt, great silky texture, ideal for a hot day in Paris.
As we got close to the town center, it was time to chill for a few minutes and just embrace the surroundings. We sat around the Palais Royal fountain for about 30 minutes. Some sunbathing was due. The atmosphere was great, people sitting around this beautiful fountain in this beautiful garden, reading their books, listening to their music or simply just embracing the sunshine along the water sound.
As much as we were loving the sunshine, it was time to move along, the Tuileries Gardens were just around the corner. A Paris must do, even if you wanting to avoid the Louvre crowd. Walked through the Place du Palais Royal where you can find the following sculptures, leading to the Louvre entrance, located just opposite of the gardens.
